An old love story will be replayed in the Courts on the 18th February 2013. This is what has been mentioned already. The main actors are one Anwar Ibrahim and his old tennis partner Solaimalai Nallakaruppan.
This will be the second time in as many years that Anwar Ibrahim will be in Court over his old and not so old relationships. Just last year we saw the Sodomy Trial involving him and what they called the Coffee Boy. He was acquitted of that charge on technical grounds. I believe the Prosecutor appealed the judge's decision but there is no news about that.
When he called for the defense in that Sodomy Trial, the judge had said that he was more than satisfied that there were grounds for the defense to be called. He also said that the complainant's testimony (Saiful Bukhari) was sound - a major point of contention by the defense lawyers.
Anyway on the 18th February 2013, it will be Anwar who is suing Nallakaruppan - his former tennis partner - for a whopping RM100.0 million for defamation. The offending words? Well we all know the story lah.
Here is the exciting part. It is common knowledge that 'that woman' will be, must be or should be called as a witness as well. Lets wait and see what happens on the 18th February. Valentine's Day cake semua belum basi lagi kut?

i am curious why the defamation damage as compensation can amount to so much- RM 100m. Question : what is the worth of a person? how we calculate the worth of reputation ..,it's time we put a limit on this?
Going by N.ajis' hoodood, he's as clean as a white cloth. Did anybody or specifically 4 muslim males saw him screw? His ABIM's proclaimed Saidatina Khadijah wife said he's been framed so everyone never doubt this god's greatest gift to Msian. BTW pls do not question about tat Omega watch anymore coz Siti Khadijah's word is as good as tat of the prophet's. She hv said it's wt her. Period
i find this strange, muslims dont have to celebrate valentine if they think it's not appropriate but to say valentine celebration (by others) is a threat to morality, is a bit ridiculous.
btw,a enlightening story, musing by marina..a family in Sabah, comprises a brother who is christian priest and a sister who is an ustazah, both make their own choice and they remain loving sibling
